2012

 Manuel Antonio Gaudi Sanches Rodrigues
 aka
Manolo Aggi
Born November 02, 2012.

2012 was a good year. If my biggest dream of all hasn't been accomplished, I got my small and big prizes some other ways. Edwin recovered well from his surgery. Benjamin grew to be a gorgeous cat.  I went to Buenos Aires and Porto Alegre and had a blast. I worked hard and I tried to get my business off the ground. I took swimming lessons and learned how to swim. I started making jewelry and sold a few pieces. I danced a lot on Sundays. I made plans and I overcame adversity. I was able to manage financially and emotionally. I modeled a couple of times  and that was fun. I performed tango a few times. I got back with an old love and had to call it quits. It was a year of important and new friendships. It was a humbling year. I started learning about makeup and realizing it is much more difficult than what I had initially thought. I met some great tangueros. I had to manage physical pain. The diagnosis that I have arthritis on my feet was shocking and it saddened my soul to think I could never dance again if it gets worse. It was also a year of old friendships. I did read a few good books. I watched some good movies. I learned how to make ice-cream and some Vietnamese dishes. 2012 was a year for me to find out my sister-in-law is expecting another baby. My brother is happier. 2012 will be remembered as the year of trying a lot of new things. Trying to be, trying to find a new job, trying a new relationship with the Russian, trying, trying, trying. 2012 is also the year that brought me Manuel Antonio Gaudi or simply Manolo Aggi, my Brussels Griffon. My family now is bigger and happier. We are four. Four individuals with different personalities who happen to be united by one common thing: LOVE. If I haven't found the man of my dreams yet, at least I am still finding in life reasons to think anything is possible. If Manolo seemed such a remote dream a few months ago, now he is a reality. So, we never know what dreams may bring. I wish for a 2013 of health and prosperity to my extended family as well as my family.
